When I retired the Bean Watcher site last year, it was time for a change. A new job, a new home, and increased responsibilities changed the priorities in my life. Something had to go, and sadly, it was the time I spent as a webmaster.
During my retirement, the thrill of the hunt, the search for hard-to-find styles, and hearing from readers throughout the world continued to excite me. Several readers, for months, encouraged me to share my enthusiasm again. By doing so, I could perhaps make a difference in the pastime we love.
So after much thought, I have decided to re-introduce the site -- but with a slight change. I will continue to focus on international news and reports, shopping opportunities, and tips to make collecting more enjoyable. However, as my free time is still limited, site updates may be infrequent, especially when news is slow. I hope this will be acceptable to you.
I am looking forward to the days ahead... My interest has always been to promote Ty products and benefit readers like you. If I can make our pastime more enjoyable, continue to promote little-known causes, and educate others about the world around them, then my time as a webmaster will be well-spent!
